Arizona Sandstone is a striking and beautiful stone, popular for its southwest colors and bold texture reminiscent of the Earth's core. Buff is a more subtle sandstone with pinks and desert sand colors.

Arizona sandstone is ideal for driveways and backyard decks because it can withstand up to 15,000 lbs of compression per square inch. Sandstone is also highly resistant to abrasion and is a naturally non-slip surface.

Bourget Flagstone Co. provides Arizona Sandstone in irregular sized slabs that vary in thickness from 1/2" - 2 1/2". Arizona Sandstone is sold in three thicknesses:

Thin 1/2 - 1" 140+ sq.ft./ton
Regular 3/4" - 1-3/4" 90 - 120 sq.ft/ton
Thick 1-3/4" - 2-1/2" 60+ sq.ft./ton

Arizona sandstone is also sold in custom order dimensional tiles.

Due to several factors, the square feet coverage per ton will vary with each job. Coverage is affected by average stone thickness, size of joints, usage of broken pieces, etc.
